Since the time it was official that Ben Affleck has decided to let go of the director’s hat for the standalone Batman movie, titled, The Batman. There were also whispers that he might step down as The Batman as well. It all started when, while promoting his latest directorial, Live By Night, Ben had confirmed that he’ll be directing The Batman. But after the Live By Night bombed at the box office, leaving its makers, Warner Brothers, with a huge $75 million loss, Ben suffered a lack of confidence. And that’s when he had second thoughts on directing The Batman, as directing and starring in a big budget superhero film, that too Batman is huge task. So he decided to just focus on the acting as the Dark Knight. But if reports are to be believed then Ben Affleck wants to do away with the role. He no longer wants to be the Batman in DCEU. Last year when  Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice  hit the silver screens, unexpectedly the biggest takeaway from that too much too soon of a film was the presence of  Wonder Woman . She, not only stole the show from under the nose of two of  the world’s biggest and most known superheroes, Batman and Superman in their own movie, but also gave out a ray of hope to all those DC fans who were disappointed by the turn of events in what was deemed to be the clash of the titans. Anyway the silver lining was the fact that Wonder Woman is gonna return in her own solo outing. And she did! Starring  Gal Gadot , Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins, also stars Chris Pine, Robin Wright,Danny Huston and David Thewlis among others. What’s It About Wonder Woman takes us through the origin of the Amazonian Princess, Diana or Diana Prince as she is known in a ‘Man’s World’ thanks to Captain Steve Trevor. It all starts when amidst World War 1...

Right after the release of DCEU’s Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot, who plays the lead, became an instant favourite of each and every one who had watched the film. For me there can’t be anyone else who can play Wonder Woman. You need a real life Wonder Woman, a Goddess to portray Wonder Woman and Gal Gadot was an apt choice for it. In my review of Wonder Woman, I had mentioned, “She is the perfect choice to play the godly Diana Prince. Not just because she looks like a Goddess but for the innocence and charm that she brings to the character. The mere fact that, in her last outing, Wonder Woman was shown to be a fierce, smart and sultry espionage superhero and here she is just an innocent, do-gooder Diana, convincing everyone to be both, speaks volume about Gal’s unmatched acting talent. The way she portrays the curiosity of a child, while being absolutely unaware of her ‘distracting’ beauty strengthens the narrative. Gal Gadot is indeed a wonder of a woman. Well I can go on and on, gushin...

Baywatch, starring Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Priyanka Chopra, is in theatres today. Here's our review. Baywatch marks the Hollywood debut of our desi girl, Priyanka Chopra. Is this week's release worth a watch? Here's our Baywatch movie review. Baywatch Director: Seth Gordon Baywatch Cast: Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra Baywatch Rating: (1/5) There is a splash of pride when Priyanka Chopra's name emerges in the opening credits of Baywatch, the summer release that marks her Hollywood debut. But it doesn't take too long for the feeling to sink, as one endures the unfunny events unfolding on screen. What makes matters worse for Baywatch in India is that it carries the handiwork of India's Scissorhands aka Censor Board chief Pahlaj Nihalani. Nihalani is okay with audiences hearing "sh*t" and "f*ck" but breasts and penises are off-limits. At least two gags are left worthless, thanks to censorship. The brawny Dwayne Johnson aka...
